Jez Dance is a Cotswold’s boy, born and bred. He has been in the professional horse transport industry and worked in the Cotswold’s for over 20 years, mostly transporting racehorses. His experience is gained from 12 years of work for David Nicholson, and since then, 12 years as a self-employed professional horsebox driver, travelling to Ireland weekly. The horses are always top priority and common sense rules!

Jez has built a reputation for an exceptional level of horse care along with trust, reliability and honesty over this time, and can now offer a direct to customer service having made a personal investment in a high quality horsebox.

The Theault Proteo is built to exacting standards in France, with leading safety features that many boxes do not have, including a removable breast bar and rear safety door. Horses travel rear facing, and the box will carry up to two 16.2 horses, individual horses over 16.2, or a mare and foal.

Jez has been DEFRA approved for journeys up to 8hrs and holds a certificate of competence for Drivers and Attendants from the British Drivers Society.
